AFGlobal Secures Coveted Technology Awards

HOUSTON, TX, May 3, 2019 — AFGlobal today announced that the Company will be honored with two 2019 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Spotlight on New Technology Awards next week. Each year, the OTC recognizes innovative technologies exhibiting the most advanced industry-leading technologies. AFGlobal’s winning technologies are the Active Control Device (ACD), part of the Company’s Advanced Drilling Systems offering and the DuraStim^® Pump from the Company’s Pressure Pumping Technologies offering.

In addition, the same technologies secured the prestigious Hart’s Meritorious Engineering Award (MEA), in the Drilling and Hydraulic Fracturing categories, respectively. This annual program honors engineering excellence and achievement in the upstream petroleum industry. The MEA program recognizes new products and technologies that demonstrate innovation in concept, design and application.

AFGlobal will also be honored as finalists for these technologies for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Woelfel Best Mechanical Engineering Achievement (BMEA) award. AFGlobal is one of four companies to be named finalists for this esteemed award.
